Both born in Korea, it took Bomi and Billy moving to the States and settling in the Seattle area for their paths to cross and their love story to begin. After college, six years of dating and a move to New York City, they are beginning their next adventure together. This spring we met Bomi and Billy at their favorite cafe in the West Village for their engagement session. About ten minutes into the shoot Billy completely surprised Bomi when he got down on one knee and re-proposed to her with a new engagement ring. Billy shared how he felt for Bomi in Korean and created one of the most romantic and magical afternoons we had the pleasure to photograph. We can't wait until their wedding in Seattle this fall...

With summer in full swing and the 4th of July around the corner, I can't think of a better time to share Lisa and Adrian's sun soaked engagement session at the Viceroy in Anguilla. Shot a couple of days prior to their destination wedding in Anguilla (coming soon!) we spent the afternoon capturing their love on the soft sand and in the turquoise waters...

Last fall we had the pleasure of photographing Lina and Daniele's intimate destination wedding in Tuscany. The Milan natives hosted their closest family and friends at the beautiful L'Andana located a few miles from Castiglione della Pescaia, a small Mediterranean town in coastal Tuscany. It was everything you would imagine; olive trees, wine, family and romance...

Last month I had the pleasure of traveling to Charleston, South Carolina to speak at Bliss & Bokeh; an amazing, one of a kind retreat for female photographers. I met so many amazing women, had an incredible experience and came home feeling renewed and inspired. I am beyond excited to be returning in February for Bliss & Bespoke, which is a brand new retreat catered to female wedding planners and designers. Chock full of talented speakers and inspiring experiences, I can't wait to meet all of the incredible women that join us there!

In early October I had the pleasure of spending four days in Charleston, SC for the all female photographers retreat, Bliss and Bokeh. With inspirational speakers and talented attendees, it was truly an incredible experience. While there, I also had the opportunity to collaborate with Joy Thigpen and Emily of Once Wed to create this editorial for the retreat. It was such as pleasure to shoot alongside our attendees at the beautiful property of Middleton Place.

Over the summer, we spent a wonderful afternoon with Annie and Tad in Santa Ynez Valley. Annie, who is a fashion blogger in Los Angeles (you can see her amazing blog here), selected beautiful outfits for both her and Tad that paired perfectly with the provencal Sunstone Winery and the stunning landscapes of Santa Ynez. She even wore a vintage Oscar de la Renta skirt that belonged to her mother... it was breathtaking!
