Canadian natives Beth and Yoav chose the SOHO Beach House in Miami to host their intimate destination wedding. With Cecconi's garden as the backdrop for their nuptials they said 'I Do' in classic black tie style. Later, their guests dined in the romantic candlelight garden in what could only be described as a timeless evening.

Niamah and Darren traveled from Bermuda to host their closest friends and family in Napa for their dream destination wedding. On a private estate surrounded by beautiful vines, they exchanged vows with tears and laughter. Niamah was a vision of effortless elegance in Vera Wang and accessorized perfectly with a custom headpiece from Simon Tu. After the ceremony guests sat under bistro lights and the stars to enjoy a local family style meal and later danced the night away in the property's picturesque barn. With the beautiful natural surroundings and the island charm that Niamah and Darren brought with them, the evening was everything a wedding should be; full of love, happiness and good times.
Thank you so much to Style Me Pretty for sharing this gorgeous wedding on their blog and to Pacific Weddings for sharing it in their Spring/Summer issue on stands now!

"Yours is the light by which my spirit's born; you are my sun, my moon, and all my stars." -E.E. Cummings After Storm Sandy disrupted Anita and Jonathan's wedding weekend they decided a post wedding session was just the right thing. Together we spent a wonderful afternoon strolling through Vizcaya's beautiful gardens and capturing the love they have for one another. Our bride, Anita, is a talented designer and crafted her own stunning lace shrug (trust me... you want to check out the rest of her creations!). It was a beautiful day with perfect weather; exactly what these lovebirds deserved!

"We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already." -J.K. RowlingWe've been on so many adventures with our dear friends Paola and Jeremy; their wedding in Mexico, helping them open their first restaurant, and now their first baby! It's been amazing to see them enter into the adventures of parenthood and to meet their newest adventure, Alyson.
I'm sure that I'm not alone in feeling that as our lives become busier and more complicated the days, seasons and years seem to pass so quickly. I'm so thankful for photography and that I am able capture and preserve moments that might otherwise be lost as they whizz by.... xo.

If you have spent a little time perusing this blog you probably already know that I love horses. Aside from photography they are certainly one of my greatest passions and I look for every opportunity to bring them into my work (and life for that matter!). Every winter we enjoy polo season and the opportunity to watch these beautiful athletes do what they do best...If you are anything like me and this didn't satisfy your horse fix you can see more here; an equestrian engagement, ranch engagement (at one of my favorite places on Earth), and more polo.

There are so many things about this wedding that made it one of my very favorites of last summer; the amazing pastel color palette, the couple's adorable chihuahuas as ring bearers, the bridesmaids bouquets in conch shells, the custom made sea foam green wedding gown, the middle eastern inspired after party to honor Sam's heritage... I could go on and on. Not to mention that Britt and Sam are one of the sweetest, most easy going and head over heels in love couples we have had the pleasure to work with. It was nothing but sheer bliss to document this gorgeous destination celebration!
I can't thank Destination Weddings & Honeymoons enough for featuring this wedding in their June Issue (see it here) and Style Me Pretty for featuring it on their blog today!
Thank you to all of the talent that made it happen...

Every so often it's fun to turn the camera around and share a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.
As you may or may not know, my husband Chad and I work together as a team for all of our weddings and shoots. We are business partners, travel buddies, fellow photographers and of course; husband and wife! While day to day Chad is our office manager, when it comes to shooting he works as an assistant and second shooter and sometimes even more. I'm pretty sure in this photo Chad was not only carrying cameras, but also rolling and cataloging film, holding the couple's bag, and blocking traffic all while riding the couple's prop bicycle... needless to say, I definitely couldn't do it without him!
Looking for a little more behind the scenes? See more here in the short film from Lola Video.

I adore everything about shooting in California; the beautiful landscapes, the stunning outdoor venues, the farm fresh food, the vineyards and their wine, and of course the light... oh how I love the California light! Nicole and Dave are Manhattan natives (see their New York engagement session here) who share my affection for California wine country. They chose to celebrate their marriage with a destination wedding at small estate vineyard on the edge of Sonoma. It was an effortlessly beautiful and intimate event that we were honored to capture...
